Our Commitment

The Canine Lab is committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible, including those with disabilities. We want everyone to be able to find out about our services and book a lesson with ease.

We aim to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA where possible, and we work to meet our obligations under the Equality Act 2010.

 
What We've Done

Our website is built on the Wix platform, which includes a number of built-in accessibility features:

  • Text can be resized using your browser's zoom settings without loss of content

  • Colour contrast has been considered across the site to aid readability

  • Images include descriptive alt text where possible

  • The site is navigable using a keyboard

  • The site is compatible with common screen readers

 
Known Limitations

As a small business using the Wix platform, there may be some areas of the site that are not fully accessible. Known limitations include:

  • Some third-party elements (such as the booking and payment widgets) are controlled by Wix and may not be fully optimised for all assistive technologies

  • Some older PDF documents linked from the site may not be fully screen reader-compatible

We are working to address these limitations where possible.
